After two months of dealing with what I thought was a back or shoulder problem, I was told by one of my doctors on March 2, 2015, that I had "a mass" growing in my cervical spine. It was crushing two nerves, causing tortuous physical suffering and destroying the feeling in my left arm and, especially, hand. After more tests and E.R. visits for excruciating pain, I found out March 20 that I have diffuse large B-cell lymphoma; I had my first chemo treatments five days later.
